Today, Mr. Winger told Ben that Mr. Taran (Ben's PE teacher and the JV coach) will most likely choose Ben to be on the JV team, but if he doesn't, then he would like Ben to be one of the student managers for the Varsity. Ben is fine with that and pretty excited that he'll at least be on one of the teams. He'll find out which one this weekend.

And what a great opportunity for both of the boys in their schools. Yes, of course, the Lord is watching over them. Over all of you!
I agree, everything in California is so casual. Remember when we used to dress up all fancy to go to a play or to hear a musical? Just today a friend was telling me about a store that had great holiday dresses. I was thinking that I don't think I am going anywhere that would require such dressing up even though we are going to a few parties. Hmmm . . maybe I'll dress up anyway.

I look forward to hearing which opportunity Ben chooses. I was a player and a manager at different times in my basketball "career." Either way, I know he'll have a blast enjoying the greatest game ever invented! =)
Making JV or manager at his school is a hard thing to do. It's a great accomplishment.
